Magicians and sorcerers (Including his brother, Crow-), being a bound spirit, having to stay in one place for any length of time, having to stand still.

Relationships:

 Kingfisher is too mobile and too easily bored to have ever settled into a permanent relationship. Currently, he's too busy playing chauffer for Turtle House to have time for much of a social life at all… Though he does occasionally manage to sneak out and join his friend Saiyuri for a round of club-crawling.

 

The Details: 

Kingfisher is the fourth of Gaia's five Godbeast avatars, charged with perfectly knowing the roads, paths, trails and directions of Creation. The most out-going and fun-loving of the five, he's also the most impatient, with a mischievous streak and a talent for practical jokes that occasionally gets him into very hot water with his brothers. He values his freedom highly and resents being bound by the onmyoji of Turtle House… though the conditions of his binding prevent him from actively trying to circumvent the terms of his service.

In his kami form, he is exceptionally swift, and has the ability to travel not only in the human world, but through the spirit realms, the Underworld or Elsewhere as he chooses. His flawless path-finding ability means that he never becomes lost or disoriented, nor can he be confined or contained… He will always be able to find "the way out", even if that way would be impassable to any other entity in Creation.

The Finder of Ways prefers flight to combat, but when forced to enter a conflict he makes good use of the horns, hooves and short tusks of his kirin form, as well as a sharp little tanto that he claims was a gift from the Monkey King.
