| Did you make your
dolls? |
| No. My crew are resin ball-jointed dolls from a variety of
Korean and Japanese companies. Most of them were made by Cerberus
Project. |
| Where can I get
one? |
| There are links to Luts, Volks and Fairyland on the "Links" page
of this site. You can also find ball-jointed dolls for sale on eBay,
on Yahoo!Japan and from several doll shops in the US. (Denver Dolls
and Dalls & Friends both have web sites of their
own.) |
| What kind of camera do you
use? |
| Nothing fancy. ^_^ All of the pictures in my Gallery were taken
with an Olympus Camedia C-3020. |
Did you make the
clothes/jewelry/props? Do you take
commissions? |
| I do make some of my crews' outfits and jewelry, but the
majority of what they wear comes from company web sites
or individual artists and designers. Given that... No, I
don't do commission work. I'm not a
professional seamstress. |
| What's with all this character and
story stuff? |
| Ball-jointed dolls are very detailed, very easily customized
and have a lot of individuality right out of the
box. I enjoy taking advantage of that and making mine into
resin avatars for various fiction and tabletop gaming characters.
This site is as much about those characters and their strories as it
is about pretty Asian dolls. | |
